Your job

Looking for a position where you can both help our customers and dive into our technology stack? The Integrations team is the bridge between customer-facing teams and our code, and is on a mission to drive high value technical integrations with customers and platform partners. We are a team of problem solvers, and are known within Channable for our flexibility and ability to find creative solutions. We translate customer needs into functionality, and translate technical details into easy-to-understand explanations for both colleagues and customers. In the Integrations team, you have a variety of opportunities to grow your engineering, service, and communication skills.


Your challenges

  • Investigate and solve challenging technical problems reported by colleagues, customers, and platform partners.

  • Perform detailed technical troubleshooting and debugging, and make code changes to resolve issues.

  • Collaborate with and review Pull Requests of other team members.

  • Analyze API documentation and data feed specifications, and work with Product and Engineering teams to maintain Channable integrations with webshop platforms and marketplace channels.

  • Collaborate across departments to make improvements to Channable features or automate inefficient processes.

  • Improve technical troubleshooting tools and documentation.

  • Serve as an accessible subject-matter expert within the company on how our Channable integrations work.


Who are you?

  • You have approximately 2 years or more of relevant professional experience.

  • You have experience in application development, and are comfortable debugging object-oriented code and implementing fixes to address issues.

  • You have experience integrating with different types of APIs.

  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases, as we use Postgres heavily

  • You have experience with Linux, git, and the command-line

  • You are a problem-solver through and through, you enjoy debugging code and find creative solutions to difficult problems.

  • You have strong troubleshooting skills and an analytical approach to problem-solving.

  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • You have an affinity for explaining technical details to people with varying levels of technical knowledge.


Nice to have

  • You have working experience with Python.

  • You have an affinity with eCommerce.

  • You have an affinity with web shop or marketplace integrations.


Other requirements

  • You are available for at least 32 hours a week.
