We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Tenure-Track Instructor in Statistics and Mathematics within our esteemed Department of Mathematical Sciences. Nestled in the breathtaking Rocky Mountains, our institution provides a diverse array of science and engineering degrees, including undergraduate majors in Mathematics and Data Science.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver 12 credits per semester in foundational statistics and mathematics courses.
• Lead and instruct summer bridge programs aimed at facilitating the transition of incoming students into college-level mathematics.
• Engage in initiatives to enhance student success, which may encompass curriculum development, coordination of service courses, and related educational efforts.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven ability to teach a diverse range of undergraduate mathematics and statistics courses.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and active participation in student success initiatives.
• Familiarity with programs such as corequisite remediation or summer bridge initiatives is advantageous.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in statistics, mathematics, or an adjacent field is required.
• A minimum of 9 credits of graduate-level coursework in mathematics and/or statistics is mandatory.
