Software Development Manager/Lead - Remote | WFH

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume multiple roles, serving as a technical lead, developer, customer service advocate, and quality assurance representative.
  • Allocate approximately 60% of your time to development tasks while dedicating 40% to leadership responsibilities.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of the organization.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and developing software for production systems.
  • Proficiency in C# programming for at least 3 years.
  • Experience with SQL Server or Oracle for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (experience with Vue is a plus).
  • Strong background in relational databases, particularly SQL and/or Oracle.
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented programming, unit testing, and design patterns.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Strong accountability and ownership in task execution, with a proactive approach to escalating issues.
  • Passion for continuous personal and team improvement, along with a commitment to ongoing learning.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in software development and management.
  • Proven experience in a leadership capacity, with strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
