Job Overview

We are a statewide agency dedicated to service, research, policy development, and capacity building, with a profound understanding of trauma’s impact. Our CARF-accredited treatment programs are designed to offer holistic interventions for individuals and families navigating complex challenges. Since our inception in 1989, we have remained committed to fostering a comprehensive continuum of care for families, individuals, youth, and pregnant and parenting individuals affected by substance use, mental health issues, and various health challenges. We strive to promote health equity and social justice, particularly focusing on eradicating disparities within healthcare, economic, and justice systems for women and communities of color.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide home- and community-based outreach, engagement, and treatment to families through the In-Home Therapy Services approach.
  • Conduct strength-based and trauma-informed assessments, case management, and behavioral health counseling using evidence-based interventions such as Motivational Interviewing and A-CRA.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing substance use, mental health, trauma, and recovery support.
  • Assist families in identifying and accessing community resources, treatment options, and natural supports.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to evaluate and address family strengths and needs.
  • Coordinate with referral sources and service providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Engage with community organizations and schools to enhance program referrals.
  • Maintain thorough clinical documentation, billing records, and reporting in compliance with organizational standards.
  • Meet a minimum productivity level for billable client services (26 hours/week).
  • Attend regular supervision sessions and participate in team meetings.
  • Adapt schedule as necessary to meet client and program needs.

Required Skills

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Clinical experience with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health issues, and trauma.
  • Familiarity with community-based resources in the Greater Boston area.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse cultural groups.
  • Bi-lingual/bi-cultural candidates (Spanish/English) are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • A valid driver's license along with access to a reliable vehicle is required.
  • Experience in home-based services, community outreach, and case management.
