Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and driven Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to become a vital addition to our remote team. This position offers the convenience of working from home following an initial training phase and is essential for maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exhibit a proactive and enthusiastic approach to assigned tasks, demonstrating initiative.
  • Manage responsibilities with urgency while showcasing excellent multi-tasking abilities.
  • Thoroughly review all orders for completeness and accuracy of information.
  • Accurately interpret and read prescriptions.
  • Verify patient information and obtain necessary physician authorizations.
  • Assess all orders for insurance approval and execute processing accordingly.
  • Input prescriber information into our system for proper documentation.
  • Organize patient records for prescriptions.
  • Provide outstanding phone support through inbound and outbound calls as necessary.

Qualifications

  • A verifiable High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Consistent attendance is expected for the initial 90 days of employment.
  • 1-3 years of experience in pharmacy data intake or a related field is preferred.
  • An active Pharmacy Technician License with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is required.
