As a Senior Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and optimizing our HR systems and processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate to develop and implement cutting-edge technology solutions for our HR department, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of requirements, solution design, change management, testing, and ongoing support for our HR technology landscape.
  • Engage proactively with HR to identify challenges and prioritize technology solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Manage and maintain essential HR systems, including core HR, recruitment, and employee experience platforms.
  • Provide frontline application support and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Implement and integrate software between various business applications, leveraging Workday’s API, EIB, and reporting tools to streamline processes.
  • Ensure reliable data flow and system performance through effective controls and testing processes.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in information technology or HR systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of Workday HR systems alongside proficiency in platforms like SAP, Oracle, and ADP.
  • Proven capability in managing and integrating HR systems for optimal data flow and process efficiency.
  • Strong project management expertise, capable of navigating both technical and strategic dimensions of HR system implementations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on diagnosing and independently resolving issues.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to quality and user experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • Familiarity with scalable solutions suitable for a geographically distributed workforce.
