Location: Remote, Anywhere in the US

Part-time Plus / Reduced-Hours Position (20-30 hours per week)

Zinovo is a US-based Salesforce Managed Service and Support Consultancy. We provide full platform support for Sales, Service, App, Community, Pardot and Marketing Cloud. Each one of our consultants is fully certified on the platform and we provide Senior Admin, Senior Developer and Solution Architect services.

We're looking for a Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) Financial Controller/Bookkeeper to lead our finance and accounting functions. This role will oversee all day-to-day accounting, including accounts receivable/payable, payroll, cash flow management, and month-end reconciliations. You’ll work directly with leadership, providing financial direction and ensuring compliance with local and international (LATAM) regulations. Experience with QuickBooks, Gusto, and Deel is essential, as well as a strong understanding of bookkeeping, payroll, and HR. You'll contribute to and enhance our culture; you’re self-motivated, have an intense work ethic, and are maniacally organized. You think outside the box but also appreciate feedback and direction, and you’re capable of managing multiple tasks to completion. This flexible, reduced-hours position (20-30 hours per week) is 100% remote with excellent benefits.

In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
- Responsible for leading the finance/accounting function. Provide direction and oversight of front-end revenue cycle processes and outcomes.
- Oversee all day to day accounting - including but not limited to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank and Credit Card Feeds. Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
- Monthly Invoicing and reconciliation
- Month End Accounting - balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting. Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements
- Domestic (US) and International (LATAM) Payroll and HR - manage all aspects of HR and Payroll, including benefits administration - Cash Flow Management - managing cash position and forecasting
- Taxes - work with CPA on tax liability estimates and on tax return
- Compliance - annual reports, other reporting requirements
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Verify that transactions are recorded correctly in the general ledger.
- Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.
- Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, and bank accounts at the end of each month.
- Monitor financial transactions and reports.
- Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
- Balance the general ledger by preparing a trial balance, reconciling entries.
- Prepare financial reports for review by management.
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
- Assist with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies
- Proven bookkeeping experience using Quickbooks Online.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish)
- Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or other related field OR equivalent work experience
- Professional Services experience
- Experience with payroll providers such as Gusto and Deel
- Experience working within a fast-paced and dynamic work environment - be prepared to wear many hats
- Prior involvement in the final responsibility for the preparation, quality and content of all financial data.
- Ideal candidate has preferably overseen a human resources function previously
- Knowledge of accounting and reporting software, mostly Quickbooks
- CPA background, preferred
- Salesforce experience not required but a bonus!
