We are currently seeking an accomplished Board Certified Ophthalmologist to join ezURS.com Inc. as a Physician Consultant specializing in utilization review, disability assessments, and peer reviews across various sectors, including health, workers’ compensation, and auto liability.

Job Overview

As a critical member of our panel of reviewers, you will engage in comprehensive reviews for pre-authorizations, medication requests, and long-term disability (LTD) as well as short-term disability (STD) cases. The ideal candidate will hold an active, unrestricted physician license in Louisiana and be actively practicing without any restrictions or malpractice claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough utilization reviews and assessments for disability claims.
  • Review and evaluate pre-authorizations and medication requests.
  • Analyze cases related to LTD and STD with precision and diligence.
  • Stay informed about prevailing medical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold the highest standards of quality assurance in reviews.
