Job description

Join our esteemed team at ezURs, a URAC accredited Independent Review Organization that sets the standard for excellence in nationwide physician reviewer coverage. We are seeking Board Certified Internal Medicine Physicians licensed in Tennessee to enhance our panel of independent reviewers. Our dedicated, credentialed physicians are not only board certified but also actively engaged in current medical practice, ensuring that they are at the forefront of the latest advancements in their specialties.

This role involves conducting comprehensive utilization reviews, medication reviews, and assessments of long-term disability (LTD) and short-term disability (STD) cases. Reviewers will focus on an objective, evidence-based evaluation of medical records, analyzing aspects such as diagnosis, mechanisms of injury, and treatment histories to determine the appropriateness of care impartially.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct utilization reviews, disability assessments, and peer reviews.
  • Analyze medical records to assess the quality of care provided.
  • Engage in ongoing training and quality assurance initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
  • An active and unrestricted medical license in Tennessee.
  • Proficient understanding of utilization review processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
