CFO Hub is looking for a Full-time Finance Director for a client , this position is not with CFO Hub.

An innovative motor vehicle parts manufacturing company is looking for a Finance Director to join their growing team!

Our client is a mechatronics innovation company born to solve the hardest challenges faced by OEMs (original equipment manufacturers). Focused on electric vehicles (EV), hybrids, and internal combustion engine (ICE) systems, our specialized teams use radical design and manufacturing methodologies to deliver higher quality, lower cost, and faster time to market for customers.

They are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Director to lead our financial strategy and operations during a period of rapid growth. The CFO will play a crucial role in raising capital, developing relationships with venture capital firms, and managing our banking relationships. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the company's financial health, enabling strategic growth, and positioning the company for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Raising & Investor Relations:

  • Lead efforts to secure funding through equity, debt, and other financing mechanisms.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with venture capital firms, private equity investors, and other potential funding sources.
  • Prepare and present financial models, forecasts, and investor presentations to potential and existing investors.
  • Negotiate terms and manage the due diligence process for capital raising activities.

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company’s financial strategy.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support the company’s growth initiatives and business objectives.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Banking & Financial Partnerships

  • Establish and manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions to secure financing and optimize the company's capital structure.
  • Negotiate and manage lines of credit, loans, and other financial products.
  • Oversee covenant compliance and reporting requirements for financial agreements.

Financial Operations & Reporting

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports, audits, and tax filings.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Identify and manage financial risks, including currency, interest rate, and operational risks.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
  • Oversee insurance and risk management programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within high-growth companies.
  • Demonstrated success in raising capital and working with venture capital firms and financial institutions.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, corporate finance, and financial instruments.
  • Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage key stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to excellence.

Work Location: Dallas, TX (preferred); will also consider remote locations
