As a Senior Technical Project Manager specializing in banking applications, you will be responsible for managing complex projects related to various banking technologies and systems. Your deep technical expertise and thorough knowledge of banking applications will be crucial in ensuring seamless execution and delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, networking engineers and client stakeholders, to achieve project goals and maintain high standards of performance.

Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects related to banking applications, including Director Unity, ATM deployments, Statement Advantage, Positive Pay Check, ECH, Wire Processing, Wire Room Setup, and Fiserv.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful delivery within budget and on time.
  • Utilize your deep technical knowledge of banking applications to provide guidance and resolve complex issues.
  • Oversee the integration, configuration, and optimization of banking systems to meet project requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in banking technology to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, maintaining clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage client expectations, gather requirements, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status, risks, and changes.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Identify resource needs, allocate tasks, and oversee team performance to achieve project goals.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and align with client specifications.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for project management, software development, and system integration.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and issues and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Resolve technical and operational challenges efficiently to keep projects on track.

Qualifications Include But Not Limited To

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management with a strong focus on banking applications and technologies.
  • Knowledge of Director Unity, ATM machines, Statement Advantage, Positive Pay Check, ECH, Wire Processing, Wire Room Setup, Fiserv, and other relevant banking systems.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects, including planning, execution, budgeting, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Familiarity with current trends and developments in the banking industry.
  • Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

The salary range for this position is $140,000 to $150,000 a year.
