Job Title

Loan Operations Manager (Remote Eligible: AZ, KS, MO, NM, NV)

Summary

Job Description:

Responsible for managing day-to-day direction, instruction and guidance to the Loan Operations team members to achieve the highest quality of work and excellent customer service. Completes Loan Servicing activities for both commercial and consumer loans, while having interaction with internal and external customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the department in an efficient and effective manner
  • Monitors workload and turn time meeting service level agreements
  • Provides training to team members as needed, communicates clear instructions, and monitors team member’s participation.
  • Completes daily “check-back” and administer the necessary corrections to resolve exceptions noted
  • Establishes overall goals and objectives for the Loan Operations team(s).
  • Assists team with workload to meet deadlines
  • Conduct various assessments and audits to ensure department procedures are achieving accurate and desired results.
  • Implement clean-up procedures and corresponding changes when necessary and as appropriate
  • Communicate with the VP to coordinate system and control activities related to loan documentation and monitoring
  • Provides top-quality service to both internal and external customers meeting service-level agreements
  • Works routinely with senior lenders and upper management
  • Completes all Loan Servicing activities as needed
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Leadership skills and previous training experience preferred
  • Strong independent thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent follow-through and follow-up skills as well as the ability to multitask
  • Ability to prioritize workflow and handle shifting priorities/diverse responsibilities while meeting multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Motivated and open to change
  • Ability to communicate with customers both internal and external. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Collaborative team player with strong customer service and communications skills

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Manages the Loan Operations Specialist and Senior Loan Operations Specialist

Education and/or Experience

  • Two(2)-Five(5) years leadership experience required
  • Minimum 5 years of direct Loan Servicing/Operations experience
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to all loan types

Computer and Software Skills

  • Proficient using Microsoft excel, Word, Google Docs and Google Mail
  • Experience with Salesforce, nCino, or FIS Bankway is a plus
