Job description

Location: Remote, covering WI, MN, IA (Ideally based in Madison or Milwaukee, WI)

Job Type: Full-Time

Travel: Heavy travel required (75% overnight travel within the territory)

Salary: Base plus commission

Opening for a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative who will be responsible for driving new business development and maintaining existing accounts in the Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa territory. This remote role requires extensive travel within the region, so a candidate based in Madison or Milwaukee, WI would be ideal. The successful candidate will focus on selling an OEM product line, developing strong customer relationships, and expanding presence in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients within the territory to grow sales of the OEM product line.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, generating leads and closing sales.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and engagement with clients, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Provide timely and accurate quotations and manage project and material requirements as needed.
  • Track and report on sales activities, opportunities, and results.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a background in Business is highly preferred but not required.
  • 2 to 4 years of B2B sales experience required.
  • Experience with quotation, project management, or material management is a plus.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Willingness to travel overnight up to 75% per week within the territory.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
