Summary:
This role is responsible for the active market development for Rogers materials focused on high performance digital applications, through close collaboration with internal and external technical and commercial stakeholders. This role will also drive the execution of successful market activation strategies in collaboration with Product Management, Sales, and Application Development teams.
Essential Functions:
- Drive digital innovation by strategically expanding product portfolio.
- Exchange technological information, test critical assumptions and educate customers during visits.
- Channel customer feedback into holistic evaluation of unmet needs, buying process analysis, critical to quality (CTQ) metrics, value chain analysis, equivalent value modeling and time-to-market analysis.
- Support key milestone decisions in product development through close collaboration with research and development.
- Drive initial commercialization with early adopter partners.
- Define and enable market activation plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders to demonstrate material value proposition.
- Conduct Proofs of Concept (PoC) studies with market representative high-performance digital designs to showcase the value proposition of our materials in customer applications.
- Support the New Business Development (NBD) and Marketing organization in the achievement of shared objectives; e.g: growth initiatives, annual operating plan and strategic plan goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
- Demonstrated technical capability in Electrical Engineering, ideally high speed interfaces and digital signal integrity at data rates of 112Gbps and higher.
- 7+ years of experience in customer facing role with increasing scope of responsibility.
- Demonstrated success in presenting to and interacting with customers and stakeholders.
- Ideally experienced with board-level hardware design, IC packaging and interconnecting technologies.
- Travel: Up to 50%.
