Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday; Full-time; 40 Hours per week; 9AM to 6PM Melbourne Time (6AM to 3PM Manila time), with 1-hour unpaid break


About the client:
The client is a rapidly growing team of retail experts, hardware engineers, software developers, data scientists, and operations specialists who work together to support retailers across the globe. They are currently looking for a Data Specialist who is passionate about data accuracy and analysis, and who will play a crucial role in maintaining and analyzing customer data using various tools and technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain & monitor customer data to ensure accuracy.
  • Overlay analysis and settings using internal tools on customer data.
  • Validate and interpret client queries and data using tools like Excel, SQL and internal tools.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure data queries are resolved in a timely manner.




Requirements
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years relevant professional industry experience and a tertiary qualification in one of these domains: IT, engineering, mathematics or actuarial.
  • Experience querying data with SQL
  • The ideal candidate should be a team player and have great attention to details.
  • Proficient in Excel and its features such as pivot table, lookup/match formulas and filters.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organised, able to multitask and manage priority well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools and analytics platforms will be an advantage.
