Description/Job Summary

Lindahl Reed is hiring a Senior Director, Energy Solutions to lead project/program management, business development, and solutions development related to our civilian energy portfolio. This is a summary of the position responsibilities and required skills.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage large scale portfolio projects and programs
  • Provide strategic insight to the federal energy market
  • Provide subject matter expertise, leadership, and management for development of proposals
  • Project management and service delivery
  • Pipeline management and business development support
  • Solutions architecture and development of technical, management, and innovative approaches
  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan that meets or exceeds established company goals
  • Attend conferences to promote Lindahl Reed offerings


Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
  • MBA preferred
  • 25+ years of energy-related professional services to government agencies
  • Project management
  • Proposal development for government agencies
  • Knowledge and experience working with National Laboratories
  • Experience working on multi-agency projects
  • Experience in systems engineering, clean energy technologies, energy management, energy end-use and utilities
  • Demonstrated skills in business planning, data analysis, cost/benefit analysis, and solution implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and execute business plan


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of winning and managing federal contracts
  • Knowledge and experience with US Department of Energy offices leading technology and innovation development in energy efficiency and renewable energy, grid modernization, technical assistance, and energy management
  • Knowledge and experience with utility and energy end-user issues
