ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Antelope is an omnichannel pet consumer platform that was founded in August 2021 with the mission to elevate the lives of pets by delivering the highest quality products across all pet products and services via a buy-and-build strategy. “Ante” means to increase the stakes or consideration of, and “lope” means to leap with bounding steps together. Antelope is elevating the standards of pet care by buying, building, and growing high-quality, natural pet brands. The company is backed by Alpine Investors and have made five acquisitions so far (Bocce’s Bakery, Diggin’ Your Dog / Super Snouts, Doggo, My Perfect Pet and Ark Naturals), and they’re just getting started! Antelope has plans to acquire 5-15 additional all-natural, high-quality brands to become the one-stop shop for pet parents.

OVERVIEW:

Antelope is looking to hire a skilled Demand Planner to lead advanced data analytics, refine forecasting methodologies, and play a key role in scaling Antelope's operations. This role will own full inventory management processes from forecasting through to our donation program as we rapidly scale. This person will collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Sales, Brand Marketing to develop forecasting methodologies to inform buy plans, and deliver on inventory and financial objectives. This role will be full-time and is remote.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Data-Driven Forecasting: Use cutting-edge analytics to develop and optimize demand forecasting models. Incorporate data from Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Advanced Excel Modeling: Build sophisticated Excel models with advanced formulas, pivot tables, and visualization tools, ensuring highly accurate, zero-defect forecasting.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Rotate through departments to understand the intricacies of demand planning from every angle. Align forecasts with business goals and respond to sales idiosyncrasies.
  • Strategic Decision-Making: Use data insights to influence high-level strategic decisions. Your work will directly impact how Antelope scales and adapts to market changes.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and address forecasting challenges by analyzing discrepancies, troubleshooting data inconsistencies, and implementing solutions.
