Job description

Target salary range: [$92,000.00 - $100,000.00]. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Objective

Provide the project control and contract administration necessary to manage a high volume, multiple task processes for a large, diversified team. While keeping the cost, schedule, and quality requirements tracked and communicated to the Government and ultimately attained. Provide real-time monitoring of status/deliverables, tracking the quality of work products, and gauging overall customer satisfaction. Meet the above requirements through development and thorough execution of a comprehensive Program Management Plan.

Job Description

  • Responsible for the structured coordination of planning and execution of product releases across specifically assigned cross functional teams;
  • Facilitate an environment allowing the cross-functional team to deliver projects to meet established goals objectives;
  • Oversee the completion of all aspects of projects; develop and adhere to master plans schedules;
  • Implement a variety of tools, concepts, practices, and procedures to effectively manage projects;
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, are consistent; and satisfy both external and internal requirements;
  • Ensure programs remain on budget and communicate budget/funding concerns to internal and external leadership;
  • Develop project/program proposals;
  • Communicate project/program requirements to gain management support;
  • Identify possible improvements in the work process for customers;
  • Pursue a program of self-development using selected reading, seminars, or participation in continuing education;
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Employment Status

Full-time (40 hours per week). Salaried. Exempt.

Qualifications

  • Must have active Secret security clearance;
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM field or Business Administration;
  • Minimum of Five (5) years of experience in project management;
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects with 20+ personnel;
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Dept. of the Navy and/or Dept. of Defense programs;
  • Demonstrated experience performing cost estimates associated with Level of Effort (LOE); scope of work and associated requirements;
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple Technical Instructions (TIs);
  • Demonstrated experience completing projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline;
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing Agile Methodologies during program execution;
  • PMP Certification preferred;
  • Demonstrated experience supporting US Navy Commands such as USFFC, PMS 312, PMS 339, NAVFAC, and PEO MLB;
  • Demonstrated experience of FARS/DFARS;
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
  • Demonstrated experience supporting programs associated with Software Development;
  • Expert user of Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
