Description

We are looking for a Director-Level KYC subject matter expert to lead KYC Onboarding and Periodic Review consulting engagements.

Role Overview:

As a Senior KYC subject matter expert, you will:

  • Lead engagement teams to review and enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance of KYC onboarding and periodic review processes.
  • Possess deep knowledge of KYC regulatory requirements and best practices across the US, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific regions, including recent updates.
  • Review client policies, procedures, processes, and documentation to identify gaps and opportunities for streamlining.
  • Summarize findings and recommendations clearly for Financial Crimes and Global Banking and Markets executives.
  • Conduct sampling of onboarding and periodic KYC documentation to provide insights and context.
  • Develop a comprehensive approach for KYC process reviews, create project plans, and provide weekly updates to client and firm management.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in KYC onboarding and periodic review processes.
  • Senior Manager or above level consulting experience in Financial Crimes compliance/KYC, preferably with Big-4 or similar firms.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Global Banking and Markets industry.
  • Expertise in global KYC regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Financial Crimes technology supporting KYC processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with global regulators and supporting clients during regulatory exams and audits.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours due to the global nature of our business.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to generate and implement new ideas.
  • Proactive in staying updated on AML/KYC policy changes and educating team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
