We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with at least 3 years of proven success running agile projects in the Payments Industry. The ideal candidate will excel in project planning, risk management, stakeholder management, budgeting and cost control, team leadership, communication skills, quality management, change management, problem-solving, decision-making, and contract and procurement management.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager oversees the project lifecycle from conceptualization to implementation and adoption
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, operations, and sales, identify dependencies, and ensure alignment with project objectives
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage expectations, maintain effective communication, and foster positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Team Leadership: Lead project teams, delegate tasks, and inspire collaboration and accountability, drive continuous improvement
  • Communication Skills: Tailor communication to various audiences, facilitate meetings, and ensure clarity and transparency
  • Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, gather relevant data, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address potential issues to drive project success
  • Change Management: Track changes, assess impacts, develop change plans, and support teams through transitions
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Create project budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation to meet financial targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field. Project Management Professional (ACP and/or PMP) certification is a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management within the Payments Industry using Agile methodologies using Jira
  • Proven track record managing projects across various skill categories using Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Teams)
  • Strong knowledge of payment processing systems, financial technologies, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities, independently and well as part of a team
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software - Teams, Smartsheets, Jira, Confluence, and Agile required
