Job Description

The Territory Manager is the face of Resideo to Contractors/Distributors in a geographical territory. Be the front line seller who drives sales by identifying/generating opportunities for customers. You will foster client satisfaction through regular customer contact and managing expectations. You will develop customer relationships through attending trade shows, seminar, and similar events. You will provide education of Resideo product through technical presentations, seminars and workshops. You will maintain, and provide reports and opportunity status using our customer relationship management system and provide competitive intelligence and market trends. You will provide forecast/demand input to Sales Inventory Operations Planning. Drive business growth by discovering new opportunities, clients, and customers. Deliver value by forging new strategic relationships. Ideal candidate will be located in Kentucky and will be supporting Kentucky, Southern Ohio, and Southern West Virginia.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Initiate and lead large contractor conversion sales opportunities
  • Conduct product and technical training to Contractor and Distributor personnel
  • Present the Resideo story at dealer meetings, trade shows and other industry events
  • Gather competitive intelligence and market trends/insights
  • Conduct “opportunity advancing sales calls” with Contractors and Distributors
  • Prospect for potential new customers
  • Campaign Management
  • Customer Reporting

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 2+ years of sales experience (HVAC, plumbing, or other trade-related sales experience preferred)
  • A valid driver's license
