Job description

Principal Data Analyst

$130-160 (DOE) with Bonus and Benefits

* You will be need to be a USC or GC holder. No C2C, Sponsorship or Visa Transfer*

**This will be 100% remote for those based in the Eastern and Central Time zones**

We have an exciting new role to join one of customers in the FinTech space as a Principal Data Analyst. This position will be joining an existing team that is dispersed globally. The company are in very strong position and have just started hiring across the company in multiple areas.

As a Principal Data Analyst, you will work alongside both internal and external stakeholders to help understand and deliver solutions to meet their needs. By doing so you will improve the overall experience and business functions.

You will have a strong background in in diverse data environments. This will be incredibly hands on so deep understanding of raw and processed data is important and the ability to transform this into self-service reporting/visualizations.

To be successful as a Principal Data Analyst you will have:

Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science
Worked in fintech, financial, payments data
8+ years experience with advanced SQL (Bigquery, PostgresSQL, MSSQL, Snowflake)
4+ years working with reporting and visualization tools and design
Strong knowledge of Looker
Experience with Python
Worked in an Agile environment
Exceptional interpersonal skills as you will be consulting with stakeholders and making recommendations
