Are you our new UX designer in AutoStore? 

 

Do you want to contribute to creating the most user-friendly automated warehouse system ever? Then you better keep on reading. 

We are looking for a UX designer in our Software Engineering department to help us develop the same look and feel across all our software systems. Your responsibilities will be to design and develop AutoStore's software systems, which controls our robots in our automated warehousing systems. As a UX designer, you will have an important role in developing our UX team further.  

You will have the opportunity to work with a world-leading technology company in its field. Our UX team aims for all our software systems to be intuitive and efficient and live up to our users' expectations and standards. 

You will collaborate with many brilliant colleagues in interdisciplinary teams across departments, specifically the software engineering teams. Together, you will be ensuring the best user experience for our partners and customer using the AutoStores's systems. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience 

  • Create low- and high fidelity prototypes, storyboards and user flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas 

  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to improve the overall user experience 

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UX trends, techniques, and technologies 

  • Ensure all designs comply with accessibility standards and best practices (WCAG 2.0/2.1) 

 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Relevant higher education within the area of User Experience design 

  • Minimum 2+ years of work experience within UX and interaction design 

  • Experience with Figma is preferred 

  • Experience with different design techniques and methodologies 

  • You are passionate about design and keeping up to date on UX trends 

  • Knowledge about agile work methods 

  • We consider it an advantage if you have experience with visual design or frontend development
