Job description

Our NYC-based sports app client is looking for a diligent, detail-oriented person to work with their Quality Assurance (QA) team & Release team to test new versions of their mobile app before they are released to the public.

What You’ll Do

Coordinate with QA testers, QA Leads, and Release Manager
Contribute to planning sessions and provide testing effort estimates
Develop and execute test plans and test cases for new features
Communicate issues found, concerns, and feedback back to the team
Responsible for documenting issues using a bug-tracking system
Triage bugs and identify risk
Triage CX tickets and perform an investigation
Maintain existing test cases in Testrail
Execute regression test cases on the Alpha & Beta versions of our app

Who You Are

Knowledgeable about sports rules and statistics for popular sports in the US, such as volleyball, baseball, softball, basketball
Precision in isolating issues and identifying steps to reproduce
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Positive energy and a friendly collaborative attitude
Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail and quality
Experience with Test Case Management and Bug Tracking software
iOS / Android mobile platform familiarity
