Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Marketing and Outreach Manager to become a vital member of our dedicated team at a prominent non-profit organization focused on transforming affordable housing solutions. Our mission is to uplift communities by offering high-quality, accessible, and energy-efficient homes. We are in search of a strategic thinker who can lead our marketing initiatives, strengthen our brand presence, and connect with our community effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute strategic marketing plans that align with our organizational objectives.
  • Refresh and enhance marketing materials and messaging to captivate our audience.
  • Oversee the management, reporting, and refinement of internal and external communications, including data collection and management.
  • Identify and manage outreach marketing activities and events in collaboration with external partners, donors, and other stakeholders to foster support and awareness of our core programs and strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate organizational events in partnership with various teams, including intake and volunteer programs.
  • Prepare presentation materials and talking points for advancement activities.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Coordinator, Grants and Compliance Coordinator, and Director of Fund Development and Mission Advancement to create engaging content for newsletters and social media.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, or a related field is strongly preferred; five years of relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Minimum of three years of direct experience in marketing or outreach.
  • Proficient in data entry and database administration, familiar with MS Office Suite, Adobe, and/or Canva.
  • Experience in the non-profit sector or housing-related fields is highly desirable.
  • Strong collaborative skills and effective oral and written communication abilities.
  • Commitment to upholding the organization’s mission, vision, and values in a consistent and equitable manner.
  • Professional representation of the organization across all interactions with clients, vendors, and staff.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of approximately \(62,000 to \)72,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
