About this role 

We're partnering with a leading telecoms organisation to replace their legacy threat hunting platform with Elastic, enhancing efficiency and speed while processing 90TB of data daily. We're seeking a skilled Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring the new Elasticsearch solution meets all stakeholder requirements.

Your Responsibilities 

As our Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications for our Elasticsearch implementation team. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and with our technical teams to ensure these needs are met. Your expertise in data modelling and analysis techniques will be essential in designing efficient data structures and workflows. You'll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of the new Elasticsearch platform with existing systems and processes.

• Proven ability to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications
• Strong knowledge of data modelling and analysis techniques
• Experience working with Elasticsearch or similar search and analytics platforms
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Understanding of SIEM and threat hunting processes in the context of large-scale data analysis
• Familiarity with the telecommunications sector is advantageous
• Experience in agile development environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus
