We provide session musicians with a steady flow of remote recording sessions and a stable monthly income as a result, reinventing the paradigm of music production in the process. Having launched just over a year ago, our monthly subscription service Musiversal Unlimited now has more than 75 session musicians, producers and audio engineers on its world-class roster, delivering more than 5,000 livestream sessions every month.
We're looking for talented Video Editors to join our fast-growing platform!
Monthly payment will start at $1,500 per month to work for 25 hours per week. This is an experimental position, which means we will hire two Editors to try out and assess if there’s demand for this service in the first month. If there is, your contract will then be extended and you will have the opportunity to increase your hours every 2 weeks, with a proportional pay increase up to 42 hours per week ($2,500 per month).
Ideally, we’re looking for you to be available for remote live work at the following times:
Requirements
- You are a skillful video editor with 4+ years of professional experience creating short form video content for social media and a proven track record of great work for a variety of clients in this particular field
- You are very proficient in a professional video editing software (Premiere, Final Cut, Media Composer, etc)
- You have the ability to carefully interpret briefs
- You have strong editing, transition and effects skills
- You are very comfortable with different aesthetics, styles and editing approaches
- You are very comfortable receiving client feedback live and adapting to it in real-time
- You have good time-keeping skills and ability to work to deadlines
- You are a good problem solver - who can translate concepts into strong visuals
- You love music and are passionate about video work in the music industry (music videos, short form music content on social media, etc)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- A proactive and friendly attitude
- You have an internet connection with a minimum of 30mbps of actual (not contracted) UPLOAD speed and an ethernet cable
