About the role 

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer at CitySwift, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the software we deliver meets the highest quality standards. 

Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks that streamline the testing process, enhance efficiency, and elevate our product quality. 

You will also collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle to provide guidance on quality assurance best practices.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify acceptance criteria, risks, test cases and appropriate testing strategies
  • Design and develop a suite of automated end to end tests to ensure the ongoing quality of all critical features
  • Incorporate test suite into CI/CD pipeline at the appropriate time to provide confidence in the quality of our releases

What you will need

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Experience with test automation frameworks, bonus if you’ve used TestCafe
  • Experience with Java or Kotlin, JavaScript or TypeScript, or similar language(s)
  • Experience creating and maintaining test data sets for edge cases
  • Experience managing test infrastructure for performance and scalability
  • Ability to analyse data and troubleshoot problems on the fly
