Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Processor to join our dynamic team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for managing and processing a pipeline of mortgage loans, including Conventional, FHA, and VA loans, with a key objective of achieving our average closing deadline of 21 days. Your expertise in these loan types is critical to our continued success and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with borrowers, loan officers, sales agents, and third-party vendors to facilitate seamless processing.
• Analyze and review all incoming documentation for compliance and eligibility standards.
• Input data meticulously related to income, assets, and liabilities into our underwriting system.
• Verify that credit report data corresponds accurately with our internal systems.
• Conduct follow-ups on verifications with employers, financial institutions, creditors, and other pertinent parties.
  
  

Required Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in processing diverse mortgage loan products.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with a proactive approach to meet deadlines in a high-paced environment.
• Proficient understanding of Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Prospector (LP).
• Strong oral and written communication capabilities, coupled with problem-solving expertise to address and resolve discrepancies.
• Familiarity with Encompass is advantageous.
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in mortgage loan processing is essential.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
