Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a committed and client-oriented Automation Software Support Engineer to join our esteemed team remotely. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your skills in PLC programming, software diagnostics, and client engagement to provide exceptional support for automation and robotic systems.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive remote technical assistance for automation systems, particularly robotic technologies.
Collaborate effectively with clients globally to ensure outstanding customer care and technical support.
Participate actively in software development initiatives for current projects and oversee software-related tasks following sales.
Cultivate and maintain robust client relationships to promote enduring business collaborations.
Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations in all operational tasks.

Required Skills

Proficient in interpreting blueprints and schematics.
Demonstrated expertise in PLC programming, preferably with Allen Bradley or Siemens platforms.
Familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft Transact SQL, .NET Framework, Visual Basic, and ASi Safety systems.
Skilled in TCP/IP networking and integration with servo motors and industrial software systems.
Adaptable and capable of performing effectively under pressure in complex scenarios.
Willingness to accommodate flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Oracle, SQL databases, or Java programming languages.
Proven track record in working with networking protocols and diverse programming languages.
Preparedness to travel nationally and internationally (10% - 15%).
Valid driver’s license and passport, with the capability to travel without restrictions.
