Job Overview

We are in search of a compassionate and skilled Nurse Manager to oversee our remote after-hours phone triage services, playing a vital role in delivering healthcare to underserved communities. This position will involve managing daily operations, streamlining care processes, and ensuring the triage line operates effectively to provide high-quality and timely healthcare solutions. You will work collaboratively with various departments to utilize expertise in patient safety, human factors, and technology to enhance care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage the after-hours phone triage line, ensuring its seamless integration with electronic health records (EHR).
  • Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to develop workflows and optimize care processes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of phone triage professionals, offering training and support to maintain exceptional care standards.
  • Assist with overflow calls and engage in Quality Assurance and Process Improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with other departments to enhance patient outcomes and care delivery.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities with a strong record in healthcare program implementation.
  • Proficient in medical technologies, telehealth solutions, and electronic health record systems.
  • Ability to manage crises and respond effectively in emergency situations.
  • Solid experience and understanding of Quality Assurance and Process Improvement strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from a recognized NLN-approved institution; a Master's Degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of clinical nursing experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alaska.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: \(126,152.00 to \)145,600.00
  • Sign-on bonus: \(15,000 for a 2-year commitment, \)20,000 for a 3-year commitment.
