Available locations: This position is open to candidates in Japan, the UK, Brazil and India (Bengaluru, Chennai & Pune).

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of technical requirements for the Telematic Control Unit (TCU).
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define and document feature design and interfaces.
• Serve as the primary resource for product development, aligning design with business goals and priorities.
• Manage the prioritization and refinement of design work, working closely with development teams.
• Resolve system issues during the design phase and provide technical guidance.
• Stay updated on industry trends in application development and connectivity.
• Define customer requirements for new connectivity features with business teams.
• Work with integration and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Create user stories and requirements to define feature functionality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in automotive electrical architecture and software-based systems design.
• Expertise in automotive connected systems, CAN bus architecture, and electrical component design.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and cloud networks.
• Experience writing technical requirements, feature specifications, and creating architectural artifacts.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and align stakeholders.
• Excellent technical communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage projects effectively.
