Program Manager, DrPH - Remote | WFH

Job Overview

We invite you to become a vital part of our esteemed team as a Program Manager for the Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) Program within the Department of Social Behavioral and Population Science. In this pivotal position, you will play an essential role in supporting the academic and administrative needs of advanced-level DrPH students, facilitating their success throughout their educational experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track student progress through the Applied Practice Experience (APE) and Integrated Learning Experience (ILE) pathways.
  • Collaborate closely with APE/ILE faculty to establish and maintain Canvas sites, ensuring proper documentation and assisting with formal-signature processes.
  • Partner with the DrPH Academic Advisor and Program Manager to guarantee timely fulfillment of APE/ILE requirements, contributing to an efficient graduation process.
  • Employ digital tools to streamline the management of student tracking and documentation tasks.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of DrPH APE site placements, preceptor details, and alumni contacts to foster a supportive network for current and future students.
  • Coordinate the SBPS & DrPH Speaker Series by managing the logistical aspects, from securing speakers to ensuring seamless virtual components.
  • Assist faculty and students with the Concur Travel & Reimbursement platform, providing necessary documentation and troubleshooting support.
  • Offer administrative assistance on diverse projects and initiatives as required, enhancing collaboration within the SBPS department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in program coordination or project/event management, preferably in a public-focused context. OR a High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least six years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include two or more years of administrative experience in a post-secondary academic institution with a focus on student interaction.
  • Familiarity with Public Health, either through an applicable degree (BPH, MPH, DrPH, PhD) or relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in institutional systems such as Concur, SciQuest, Banner, and Slate.
