Expana is looking for a committed Senior Agronomist to spearhead our research initiatives in Vietnam! In this role, you’ll conduct detailed crop surveys, analyze vital weather and market data, and collaborate closely with local farmers and industry experts. Your efforts will directly contribute to creating sustainable agricultural practices that benefit both our communities and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Research Initiatives: Implement research methodologies for crop estimation, including crop surveys, weather data collection, and farmer stock analysis.
- Analyze Data: Gather and interpret data on market dynamics, including export figures, stock levels, and pricing trends.
- Develop Models: Create cost of production models, track harvesting progress, and provide weekly market updates.
- Collaborate: Work with a diverse range of stakeholders, from farmers to industry experts, to enhance our understanding of the coffee sector.
- Compliance: Ensure ISO 27001 training is attended and all mandatory documents have been read to ensure working practices comply.
Skills & Qualifications
- A university degree in Agriculture or a related field.
- Experience in conducting coffee surveys and agricultural research.
- Strong communication skills for conveying complex data to various stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel extensively to coffee-growing regions.
