Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Operations Associate in a fast-paced life science industry. In this role, you will play a part to ensure orders are processed and dispatched to customers on time and in full. Be able to resolve diverse and more complex orders and shipments by identifying the root cause of issues and working with internal departments to improve the customer sales order process. This is a remote based contract opportunity that will require the candidate to work west coast hours.

  • Please note that this is a 6-month contract position and will be employed by our agency partner, with the potential for a permanent role depending on the organization's needs at the end of the contract.


Key Responsibilities

You will work independently with limited supervision, but within the Commercial Operations team, but also interface with Sales, Customer Support and Technical Services routinely – the role requires good written and oral communications skills, working with customers, preparing reports, presenting in meetings, using email and slack chat system.

Duties

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Liaising with warehouses to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Order Processing
  • Assigning Stock
  • Supporting customer service and sales and improving response time by answering order inquiries in a timely manner regionally
  • Managing complex customer accounts with order processing
  • Handling escalations from overseas partner, WNS
  • Scheduling and amending of orders on D365
  • Perform system testing during routine updates of D365
  • Order processing, PO checking, and confirming order details
  • Assisting with logistics and export control applications
  • Processing replacements and return orders
  • Any other duties as might be required within the remit and responsibilities of the post
  • Performing Analysis on Order Processing and Shipments to root cause and take corrective and preventative actions


Experience/Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an operations or supply chain role
  • Order processing experience
  • Previous experience using a CRM and/or and ERP system – Tableau or Salesforce
  • Proactive in resolving issues
  • Experience working in an operations role with knowledge of the sales process


Work Schedule/Location

  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 5pm PST
  • Open to locations within the United States - However will need to work west coast hours.


Compensation: **Please note that this is a 6-month contract position and will be employed by our agency partner, with the potential for a permanent role depending on the organization's needs at the end of the contract.

The contractor hourly range for this role is between $ 30.14 to $45.22 per hour USD . The salary offered will reflect the skills and experience of the candidate.
