About Our Client

Our client is a leading fintech company dedicated to accelerating cash flow and enabling growth for small and medium-sized businesses that sell to large customers and experience payment delays. With operations across North America, their AI-powered invoice funding platform offers B2B businesses fast, customized funding options, enabling them to get paid in days rather than months, giving them quick access to cash they’ve already earned.

Our client is looking for a diligent and resourceful Cash Application Analyst to join their mission of helping business owners overcome the delays associated with traditional payment terms.

Responsibilities

• Process payments in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Communicate with clients and gather data to post payments in the system
• Maintain detailed records for clients and their customers
• Proactively assess client needs to address cash flow challenges
• Ensure payments are posted within 1 business day
• Retrieve electronic payment data from bank accounts
• Apply payments accurately and promptly to client accounts
• Perform payment history analysis and account reconciliation
• Reconcile client balances, focusing on resolving payment discrepancies
• Troubleshoot and provide creative solutions when needed
• Conduct research for undefined customer accounts and over-payments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Risk, Client Success, Product, and Engineering
  
  

Requirements

• Passion for empowering small businesses
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cash applications
• High school diploma, with a preference for a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance and accounting
• Intermediate technical skills (Slack, Gsuite, Excel)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong integrity and ethical standards
• Fast learner, adaptable to new challenges
• English proficiency (C1 and above)
