Odyssey is the Content Studio within Miles Partnership that works with brands across the tourism industry and beyond to create authentic storytelling through digital-, social-, brand- and/or entertainment-first content.

About The Job

Odyssey’s Head of Marketing & Promotion is responsible for leading, developing, and overseeing paid and earned media strategy and operations within Odyssey Studios for our entertainment product offerings + content creators strategic partnerships for Odyssey Studios & Miles Partnerships and shaping media & creator strategy, managing budgets and ensuring amplification of campaigns within Odyssey Studios; for Odyssey entertainment products, campaigns, clients and sales.

Responsibilities

Odyssey Studios | Paid & Earned Media Management

Manage, optimize, and execute a paid media campaigns that aligns with the Odyssey’s goals and objectives. Including audience targeting, performance analysis & optimizations, insights & reporting, etc.

  • Partnership Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and key partnerships.
  • Project Management: Lead daily management for paid, earned & owned media; including but not limited to copywriting, research, communications, social trends/news updates, clients/DMO research and insights for related projects/products.
  • Budget Management: Track & report on media budgets effectively across various channels & resources, optimizing spending to achieve maximum performance for all Odyssey products, campaigns, projects.
  • Media Planning and Buying: Manage partnerships when collaborating with internal teams (example: production, sales & miles media team) & agencies (example: PreciseTV), partners (example: AdGenuity, creators, brands, etc.), and independent contractors to secure and execute campaigns.
  • Reporting & Check Ins Lead all performance analysis and wrap up reports.
  • Cross-Channel Integration: Foster collaboration and synergy between Miles & Odyssey + various media channels, including social, and emerging platforms, to create cohesive campaigns.
  • Partnership and Vendor Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with media partners, vendors, and agencies, negotiating contracts and agreements.

Odyssey Studios | Content Creators Management

Implement creator program strategy and manage day to day operations and partnerships for Odyssey & Miles.

  • Campaign Management: Oversee the operations, execution, and optimizations of all content creator/influencer marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including Meta, IG, TikTok, YouTube, and more. Collaborate with internal teams & external partners to ensure success.
    • Identify and Evaluate Content Creators: Research, identify, and evaluate potential influencers who align with our brand values and target audience demographics.
    • Outreach: Establish templates and maintain relationships with creators, including negotiation of partnerships, contracts, and compensation agreements.
    • Campaign Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute influencer marketing campaigns that integrate seamlessly with our overall marketing initiatives.
    • Content Collaboration: Work closely with creators & internal teams to co-create compelling and authentic content that resonates with our target audience and aligns with the campaign.
    • Content Distribution: Ensure that creator content is effectively distributed across various social & digital channels.
    • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze influencer campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize results.
    • Budget Management: Manage creator budget, tracking expenses and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
    • Client-facing: Serve as a point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, managing expectations, and providing regular updates on campaign progress & performance.
    • Partnership Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and key partners.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the clients, media, creative, and account teams to ensure a cohesive approach to all marketing efforts. Support the development of broader marketing strategies that integrate influencer and media marketing initiatives.
    • Stay current with social trends: Constantly monitor, and stay informed about emerging social media trends, platform updates, and cultural shifts. This includes understanding new content formats, trending topics, viral moments, and audience behavior changes to ensure that all campaigns are relevant, innovative, and aligned with the latest trends in the digital landscape.
    • Sales: Lead internal webinars, support pitches and finalize sales decks (copywriting & creative) with media accuracy and expectation setting on tactics, spend, and performance.

    • If on-location, ability to carry and competently utilize video and editing production equipment such as cameras, camera accessories, lighting and other on-set equipment.

    Location: This is a remote position within the United States.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • 6+ years’ experience in influencer, social, and entertainment media strategy
    • Ability to co-create with Odyssey team members where joint ownership drives success
    • Comprehension of website and video engagement metrics
    • Willingness to take direction, but also work independently
    • Able to respond positively to management, client and peer criticism and feedback
    • Excellent written and verbal communication with both clients and co-workers
    • Well organized and able to prioritize own workload and meet deadlines
    • Display a dependable, strong work ethic and an excellent attention to detail
    • Able to identify and solve problems and create opportunities independently
    • Able to think strategically and work collaboratively with a team
    • Able to effectively manage relationships, both internally and externally

    Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000 DOE
