Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Business Manager to provide direct support to the Privacy Director and manage the operations of the privacy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing privacy operations, helping prioritize initiatives, managing team communications, and coordinating various projects. This is a mid-level role suited for a professional with strong project management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work well with people in a remote setting. Ideally, the candidate will be based on the West Coast.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Oversee the day-to-day business operations of the privacy team, ensuring smooth execution of privacy initiatives and adherence to deadlines.
- Assist the Privacy Director with prioritizing and tracking key initiatives, making sure projects are on track and objectives are met.
- Plan and organize team meetings, virtual gatherings, and other key events to maintain team cohesion and communication.
- Serve as the communication hub for the privacy team, managing internal and external communications, updates, and reports on team activities.
- Manage and coordinate various projects, providing oversight on timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation for the privacy team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, gathering information, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment with privacy initiatives.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- At least 5 years of experience in business management, project management, or operations roles, ideally supporting executive leadership or privacy/compliance teams.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring smooth execution from initiation to completion.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reports, project timelines, and team deliverables.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships and manage team dynamics effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote environment, with a preference for candidates based on the West Coast.
Compensation range for position is $ 94,500 – 105,000 DOE.
