Job Overview

Join our esteemed team for the Summer 2025 Actuarial Internship focusing on Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance. This remote opportunity allows you to gain invaluable hands-on experience while working alongside seasoned actuaries. Whether in-office at our Carmel, IN location or fully remote, you will be immersed in the dynamic landscape of the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct industry research and perform actuarial analyses.
  • Collaborate on special client projects within the property and casualty insurance domain.
  • Engage in client interactions to gain insights from an actuarial consultant’s perspective.
  • Develop practical knowledge in actuarial subjects pertinent to upper-level CAS exam syllabus material.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with statistical software such as R or Python is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with adept time management and the ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Compensation And Benefits

  • Hourly pay ranging from \(18 to \)23.
  • Flexibility for either in-office or remote work arrangements. Interns will be responsible for their own housing and transportation during in-office periods.
