Accounting Director Remote Full time or Consultant

The mission of HALO Dx is to Save Lives with Early Detection. HALO Diagnostics is searching for an Accounting Director. 
 
 
Job Description
In this role you will work with business partners across accounting to ensure data is complete, accurate, and timely. This person will be responsible for daily accounting, month-end close processes, overseeing payroll and budgets while keeping a keen eye on efficiency improvement. Success in this role requires attention to detail with excellent collaboration and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that is consistently changing.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain books in a GAAP based accounting model
  • Prepare month end closing processes and review books for reporting accuracy
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Full understanding of revenue cycle management
  • Oversee payroll
  • Assist in setting annual budget and forecasting models
  •  Support the audit of consolidated and location specific financial data/statements
  • Manage a team that consists of A/P, A/R and Payroll 
  • Collaborate with Finance and other leadership on other ad hoc tasks
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in finance or a related analytical field / 5 years mgt exp
  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Coupa 
  • Experience in the medical industry 
  • Experience working with Sage’s IntAcct financial software
  • Budgeting experience
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Motivated self-starter, proactive and action-oriented, requiring limited supervision
