Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a stock management / admin clerk to join our team and have a direct impact on the success of our Test Facilities Engineering Emissions Team. As part of this team, based in our Europe Research & Development Centre in Peterborough UK, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day clerical and stock management services. This role includes the physical movement of stock.

This is not a remote role.

Responsibilities

• Management of Gases and Parts inventories - which will include picking/storing of stock, taking and processing orders, addressing complaints and answering customer/supplier queries.

• Compiling and maintaining confidential records

• Setting up appointments, scheduling meetings, distributing reports and managing correspondence between the office and external bodies.

• Supplier/vendor cost analysis

• Ensuring customer/supplier/vendor relationships are maintained

• Continuous Improvement - advising management on strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures

• Management of contractor/sub-contractor inductions - RTW

• Management of shipping and transportation of instruments

Key Skills and Requirements

• Advanced MS Office required

• Previous administrative role is advantageous

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to keep information organised and confidential

• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner

• Must be able to communicate with colleagues at all levels of seniority and liaise effectively with other internal departments and external contacts
