Job description

This is a remote position.


Scope:

  • 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm Cedar Rapids, Iowa Time (with 30 min lunch break and 2 other 15 minute breaks)

  • Remote work with ability to align with Central Time Zone (US) working hours

  • Direct reporting to company founders

  • Responsible for all aspects of SEO strategy and implementation

  • Collaborate with other team members to integrate SEO with overall marketing efforts

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize blog content for search engines and target keywords

  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis

  • Implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO optimizations

  • Utilize tools such as SEMrush, HubSpot, and Google Analytics for SEO analysis and reporting

  • Create and optimize content, including blog posts, videos, and graphics

  • Manage and grow social media presence across platforms

  • Develop and execute link-building strategies

  • Monitor and report on SEO performance and traffic growth

  • Collaborate with founders to align SEO efforts with business goals

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in SEO and content optimization

  • Proficiency in SEO tools including SEMrush, HubSpot, Google Analytics, and Canva

  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices

  • Experience with content creation and social media management

  • Familiarity with Google Data Studio (now Looker Studio) for reporting

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Data-driven approach to SEO strategy and performance measurement
