Job description

This is a remote position.

Scope:

8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm Cedar Rapids, Iowa Time (with 30 min lunch break and 2 other 15 minute breaks)
Remote work with ability to align with Central Time Zone (US) working hours
Direct reporting to company founders
Responsible for all aspects of SEO strategy and implementation
Collaborate with other team members to integrate SEO with overall marketing efforts

Responsibilities:

Optimize blog content for search engines and target keywords
Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
Implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO optimizations
Utilize tools such as SEMrush, HubSpot, and Google Analytics for SEO analysis and reporting
Create and optimize content, including blog posts, videos, and graphics
Manage and grow social media presence across platforms
Develop and execute link-building strategies
Monitor and report on SEO performance and traffic growth
Collaborate with founders to align SEO efforts with business goals

Requirements:

Proven experience in SEO and content optimization
Proficiency in SEO tools including SEMrush, HubSpot, Google Analytics, and Canva
Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices
Experience with content creation and social media management
Familiarity with Google Data Studio (now Looker Studio) for reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Data-driven approach to SEO strategy and performance measurement
