Environmental Conditions

Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Will work with hazardous/toxic materials

Base in Shenzhen China. As a Field Service Engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will have the opportunity to work in our China division, providing exceptional customer service and support.

A day in the Life:

  • Collaborate with customers to determine their needs and successfully implement solutions.
  • Conduct Installation, preventative maintenance and repairs on SEM/SDM tools
  • Provide training and technical support to customers.
  • Travel, often on short notice, to customer sites to resolve problems or support other field service personnel

To thrive in this position, you should possess ambition, a strong attention to detail, and a demonstrated history of success in customer service.

Education

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in computer, mechanical, electronic, automation or related

Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Experience working with scientific equipment especial SEM/ is an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English listening, reading and writing

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This role requires the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various customer environments, including laboratories and research facilities.
