Translator Chinese for Legal and Marketing Industries

Job Overview

Elite Asia is in search of a highly motivated and resourceful freelance Chinese Translator to become an integral part of our esteemed linguist team. As a translator, you will be tasked with delivering assignments that conform to our clients’ specifications, primarily across sectors such as Legal, Banking and Finance, Media, and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute translation assignments adhering to client specifications.
• Uphold high standards of quality in all translations.
• Maintain effective communication with team members and clients.
• Be available for urgent projects as they arise.
  
  

Required Skills

• Exceptional fluency in English and Mandarin/Chinese, specifically in the Singapore or Malaysia dialect.
• Competence in post-editing machine translation content to achieve a human translation quality.
• Familiarity with various industries, including but not limited to, Advertising, Government, Education, Gaming, Legal, Industrial and Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical or Medical, Retail and E-commerce, Technology, and Travel and Hospitality.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the field of translation is preferred, though fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to manage a daily workload of at least 1,200 words and a weekly capacity of 6,000 words or more.
• A prompt response time of within 1 hour to job inquiries and requests during office hours (Monday to Friday) is required.
• Willingness to accept assignments on weekends and public holidays is preferred; please indicate your availability clearly.
