Your Role:

As a SEO Supervisor, You Will

  • Work with the SEO Lead to develop SEO strategies and quarterly targets that align with the Airtasker’s business goals
  • Lead a team of SEO Specialists and SEO Analysts to drive a high-performance culture
  • Perform regular team check-ins, 1on1s, and feedback sessions with the direct reports
  • Track and analyze website performance, create regular SEO reports and create Google update impact investigations
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis at scale for local markets and international growth
  • Collaborate with Technical SEO Specialists, SEO Engineers, and Content Team Members to diagnose and solve issues across the Airtasker and Oneflare sites
  • Stay abreast of SEO technologies, news, case studies, and Search algorithm updates

What You Need:

 Non-negotiables

  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and search engine algorithms
  • Experience in the different facets of SEO (on-page, off-page, technical)
  • Excellent ability to shape narratives and tell stories with data around competitive analysis, algorithm updates, and similar reports
  • Good knowledge of programmatic SEO, international SEO, and digital marketing processes
  • Experience developing project plans, optimization workflows, training programs, or similar deliverables
  • Analytical skills to establish metrics for the purpose of measuring SEO campaign effectiveness against company objectives and formulating insights on ROI.
  • Leadership skills to foster a high performance culture amongst the SEO team
  • Strong commercial acumen to ensure that the SEO strategy aligns and supports the overall business strategy
  • Communication skills to bring stakeholders on the journey of our SEO strategy and foster a collaborative environment within the wider organization
  • Ability to create trust among stakeholders to ensure endorsement of your ideas and strategies
  • Project management skills to see a strategy right through to execution
  • Decisiveness backed by strong judgement and research
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs
  • Experience in enterprise and international SEO would be advantageous
  • Experience in using Botify and SurferSEO would be advantageous
  • Experience in PPC campaigns would be advantageous
  • Experience in using AI tools to improve workflows would be advantageous
