Job description

Position: Senior

Work Type: Full time

Set-up: Work From Home

Schedule: Night Shift

Job Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this role is to support our Account Managers.

The assistant will primarily support with administrative type tasks.

Promotions Management

Day-to-day activities may include:

  • Send promo invitations to retailers and brands
  • Price checks before/after promotions
  • Completing required forms for submission

Database Management (BrandJump’s Internal System)

  • Assist in keeping data current including contacts, program info, and promotional calendars.

Operational Monitoring

  • Review operational reporting regularly (via email reports, scorecards, portals, etc)
  • Flag areas of concern based on parameters set by the retailer or Account Manager.

Manage Marketing Request Process

  • Requesting and tracking photo samples or digital assets
  • Verifying data including inventory availability, product info, etc.
  • Assist in pulling product recommendations or substitutions as needed
  • Ensure all deliverables and timelines are met

Issue Process Initiation

  • Initiate first steps in exception processing as requested. This may include opening a ticket with a retailer or starting a dispute via email.
  • Oversee issues until resolution, flagging delays or support needed to the Account Manager.

Basic Assortment Curation

  • Using the PIM system to pull lists of appropriate products based on set parameters given by the Account Manager.

Sales Reporting

  • Data Analysis
  • Trends
  • Generate monthly sales overview
  • Pull ad hoc reports as needed from various internal and external systems.

Monitor product reviews on retailer sites for issues or actions needed.

Other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience analyzing data in Microsoft Excel
  • Good business communication (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable working in various systems and portals
  • Strong follow-up and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • E-commerce, account management, or sales background a plus.

Prior Experience

Experience in these types of roles:

  • E-commerce Merchandising
  • Assistant Buyer
  • Account Management Assistant
  • Sales Assistant (preferably in the home furnishings category)
