Job description

For a UN Agency in Geneva, NTT DATA is currently looking for an IT Service Delivery Manager (SDM) Officer - IAM Operations to work remotely from Europe. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the service delivery of a Managed Service Provider (MSP) that provides Identity and Access Management (IAM) Services across a multi-cloud environment. The focus will be on optimizing IAM processes, ensuring seamless service delivery, and maintaining secure access control systems.

Your role will be:

  • Support UN's relationship with our managed service provider in regards to IAM activities.
  • Functional leadership to all IAM/IDM services and solutions across UN.
  • Management and operational support of the tooling and services delivering common IAM/IDM services (ServiceNow, on-prem AD, multiple Entra ID tenants , ADFS and AD Connect, in future new services and solutions).
  • Management of the identity and access management service (currently outsourced) including monitoring of service levels, process improvement, system optimization and sustained improvement.
  • Design and operation of all common privileged account management tools and Services.
  • Overseeing and ensuring the security and effectiveness of all privileged identity management solutions used or supported by IT Operations.
  • Overseeing and driving the implementation of an overall IAM strategy, solution, design, and architecture across UN.
  • Information security risk management and response within any IAM service.
  • Co-owner with the CISO for all IAM-related security standards.
  • Functional leadership for the effectiveness of IAM processes and outcomes across all applications and tools worldwide, whether operated by DIST or not.

For this role you will need:

  • 10 years of proven experience Service Delivery Management: overseeing the delivery of services, ensuring they meet business needs and align with organizational goals.
  • First-level university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Process Optimization: Strong ability to identify inefficiencies, streamline IAM processes, and implement improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Managed Service Provider (MSP) Oversight: Skilled in managing and collaborating with MSPs, ensuring they deliver high-quality services and meet established SLAs.
  • Azure Expertise: Knowledge and experience with Azure Identity and Access
  • Management (IAM) tools and processes, understanding how to leverage Azure's capabilities to support multicloud environments.
  • Demonstrated progressively responsible work experience in IT Operations:
    • ability to manage remote IT services providers
    • managing IT cross functional services
    • optimizing IT operational processes
    • IT processes documentation skills, including the creation of Standard
  • Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other technical documentation.
  • Prior experience:
    • delivering documents
    • using Entra ID, MFA and Identity tools
    • in IT IAM
    • in Service Now
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience coordinating with internal teams (IT, Security, Operations) and external vendors to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Continuous Improvement: Focused on fostering a culture of continuous improvement, seeking out opportunities for innovation and process enhancement within IAM services.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership abilities, with excellent communication skills to influence and engage cross-functional teams, and manage relationships effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence, lead negotiations and build consensus among internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective working relations in a multi-cultural environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.
  • Advanced level written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Desirable:
    • Prior experience in IT Audit and in GRC processes
    • Experience with UN agencies, and/or humanitarian actors
    • Knowledge of other UN working languages (e.g., French, Spanish)
