Job description

A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant. This role offers flexibility with either a hybrid or remote working arrangement, with occasional travel required to business sites. The role involves managing the day-to-day SAP platform operations and contributing to project-related solution development. It requires close collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver technical and functional solutions according to specifications and blueprints, adhering to established standards and procedures.
Contribute to the development, testing, and deployment of functional components based on business needs.
Support smaller project initiatives under the guidance of the Plant Maintenance Solution Lead.
Collaborate with business users and external SAP partners to ensure system solutions meet expectations.
Facilitate the smooth implementation of new functional solutions, ensuring all relevant documentation is prepared.
Create and distribute release notes and provide key user training for new or updated functionality.
Document detailed functional solutions and offer technical expertise within relevant system applications.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

In-depth expertise in the SAP PM module.
Extensive experience in SAP PM functional development and support, ideally within a service or maintenance environment.
Knowledge of core SAP PM elements such as:

Service Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Functional Location Structures
PM Orders, Notifications, and Task Lists
Maintenance Scheduling and Resource Management
Equipment Records, Serialisation, Split Valuation, and Project Stock.

Solid understanding of integration with other SAP modules.
Proven experience completing at least one full system implementation lifecycle.
Experience working in a multi-project, matrix-managed environment.
Familiarity with systems development, project management methodologies, and the ASAP methodology.
Industry experience in supporting manufacturing operations is a strong advantage.
Knowledge of iPPE (Integrated Product and Process Engineering) is an asset.
