What’s The Role?

Our client, a leading provider of specialist motor finance, is looking for Financial Support Assistants to join them on a new project in their affordability team. As a support assistant you will proactively engage with customers via telephone or email to discuss any payment problems they may be experiencing, set up appropriate payment plans for their account and help customers to reach the most suitable forbearance option for their individual circumstances and deliver the best outcome for them.

  • Rate: £160 p/d via umbrella
  • Work Pattern: Standard Business Hours
  • Start Dates: ASAP
  • Duration: March 2025 with possible extension



Role Responsibilities

  • Conducting inbound and outbound customer telephony contact to assess customers financial information.
  • Working on complex accounts to complete income and expenditure checks, setting up payment arrangements and settling accounts to reach a suitable forbearance option
  • Supporting vulnerable customers and cases with high levels of arrears.
  • Meeting quality and production targets.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.



What Knowledge, Skills & Experience We Need

  • Min 12months experience in a similar role, within financial services
  • Motor finance experience beneficial.
  • PC skills including Word and Excel.
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work to demanding deadlines including workflow and time management.
  • Ability to attain and maintain specified quality and production targets.
  • Strong communication and telephony skills.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work with honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and competency.
