Job description

Role: Category Manager - Office Business


Location: Remote, UK based

We offer Choice based working that gives you the opportunity to work from a UK location of your choice. We also offer various Konica Minolta offices and Regus office spaces across the UK. You may be required to travel to a customer at the needs of the business.


Package: £45,000 - £65,000 DOE plus a discretionary 15% bonus

We are seeking a Category Manager to join our team at Konica Minolta!


As a Category Manager for the Office Business at Konica Minolta, you will play a pivotal role in driving and supporting the delivery of the UK's sales, financial and unit targets for our class leading range of office print & scan products and services. Your primary responsibility will be to proactively capture and analyse market trends, stakeholder insight and business performances to inform decision making and action planning. You will investigate, propose and follow through tactical and strategic category initiatives, including Go-To-Market (GTM) and portfolio optimisations as well as sales enablement initiatives such as training, sales tools & pricing or promos to achieve category and business unit KPI's.

  • Have experience as a Category Manager or Product Manager within the industry including a deep understanding of the Office MFP and printer market
  • Work analytically with a strategic mindset in order to create long term strategies based on market tendencies
  • Actively engage and particitpate from start to finish of the strategy
  • Naturally communicates and negotiates with all levels of stakeholders to create and maintain positive relationships with both suppliers and colleagues
  • Possess financial acumen by understanding cost structures, pricing strategies, and profitability metrics in order to manage budgets and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced organisation with cross-functional collaboration
  • Have great decision-making skills alongside exceptional ethical judgement to ensure maintaining of the company's reputation and values
